Mr. Zambreno
Dear Families,

So, the year is half gone. At this point, the adjustment period from elementary to junior high school should be complete. The good news is that this year’s seventh grade class continues to shine. The kids have done an excellent job adjusting to their new environment and most of them can be proud of the grades they have earned during first semester.

In addition to their academic success, we have also seen a major decrease in behavior problems this year. Based on this, I anticipate that the next year and a half will go smoothly and that our kids will be well prepared for the transition to high school. I am proud to work with such a diverse and talented group of students!

A quick note on credits: As I mentioned in the last newsletter, students need to pass 80% of their classes to advance to high school. If your child has found himself or herself short on credits, be sure to have them enroll in our after school program. To enroll, students can meet with Ms. Mascotti in the main office as she coordinates the program.

As always, I encourage all students and families to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,
Brian Zambreno
7th Grade Assistant Principal
