This is my 14th year teaching at Highland. This year I am teaching World Geography. I have also taught for 10 years on the college level. My hobbies are sports, building our lake house on Leech Lake, and my children, Finn and Kevin. My husband Leif is a research chemist at 3M Company.
Classroom Expectations.
Students must raise their hand before they talk.
Students will come prepared with their paper and pencil.
Students will respect all property.
Students will show respect to all people in the classroom.
Supply List.
Students need paper, pencils, and colored pencils.
Standards to be covered.
The 12 "power standards" of 8th grade World Geography. They are posted in my room. They are discussed with students, along with the guiding questions.
